BookFlix
BookFlix pairs classic fictional video storybooks from Weston Woods with nonfiction eBooks from Scholastic to reinforce reading skills and develop essential real-world knowledge and understanding. Perfect for use in the classroom, school library, and public library, BookFlix is accessible to every child – early readers, reluctant readers, and English Language Learners.

eBooks on EBSCOhost
NetLibrary provides access to electronic books (eBooks), including reference books, scholarly monographs, publications of many university presses, and consumer books that have been converted into digital format. It is possible to perform full-text searches of a single eBook, search thousands of volumes simultaneously, browse topic categories, or read eBooks directly online. There is no checkout period for NetLibrary eBooks. Users can create an account in order to use personalization tools; including creating a Favorites list, but a personal account is not required for accessing eBooks through the GALILEO interface. A personal login is required when accessing through library catalogs and through the NetLibrary web site.

Georgia Historic Books
The Georgia Historic Books database contains full-text, fully searchable books related to Georgia's history and culture. Most are from the 19th to early 20th century and focus on Georgia history, biography, and literature.

Goodreads
Goodreads is a free website for book lovers. Imagine it as a large library that you can wander through and see everyone's bookshelves, their reviews, and their ratings. You can also post your own reviews and catalog what you have read, are currently reading, and plan to read in the future. Don’t stop there—join a discussion group, start a book club, contact an author, and even post your own writing.

LibraryThing
LibraryThing is an online service to help people catalog their books easily. You can access your catalog from anywhere—even on your mobile phone. Because everyone catalogs together, LibraryThing also connects people with the same books, comes up with suggestions for what to read next, and more.

Literary Reference Center
You’ll find thousands of plot summaries, synopses, and work overviews in this database, as well as articles of literary criticism, author biographies, book reviews, poems and short stories, full text of more than 7,000 classic novels, author interviews, and author images.

Literature Online Reference Center
This resource contains a collection of literary reference and criticism, including biographies, author bibliographies, and full-text articles from literature journals.

MailBox Books
A service provided by FCPL to homebound library cardholders.

NextReads
Suggestions for new, forthcoming, and classic titles—emailed right to your inbox. Choose among the many categories and receive email newsletters with selected titles of great reads. When you sign up for a newsletter you will receive a confirmation email and then you will receive the current issue of the newsletter(s) you selected.

NoveList Plus
A complete resource for fiction and nonfiction pleasure reading, NoveList Plus offers information on more than 200,000 titles, including nonfiction books selected for their appeal to the general reader. New titles are added each year. Here, you’ll also find author read-alikes, book discussion guides, book talks, and feature articles. NoveList Plus is your personal guide to deciding what to read next.

Online Book Clubs
Join our Email Book Clubs. Every day, Monday through Friday, you will receive in your email a five-minute selection from a chapter of a book. By the end of the week, you'll have read 2-3 chapters. Sign up and start reading.

OverDrive
Downloadable audiobooks and music.

TumbleBooks™
The TumbleBooks Library is a fun and interactive library of animated, talking story books for preschoolers, beginner readers and older independent readers. Read along and listen, or read on your own. TumbleBooks are created by taking existing story books, adding animation, sound, music and narration to produce an electronic (e-book) story book. TumbleBooks will help teach kids the joy of reading in a format they’ll love.

What to Read
Bookmarks and brochures prepared by library staff for kids, teens, and adults that recommend books by subject and age, as well as read-alikes. You may also find these booklists on the Library’s catalog with a place request button. Just look at the menu on the left hand side of the page and select What to Read—Adults or What to Read—Kids and Teens.
